Update Sept 7, 2021– We had a great time networking and attending the 2021 RMAI Executive Summit in Stowe, VT. Plaza Services CMO, Adam Parks, was a panelist at the much anticipated event following the cancellation of the 2020 summit due to Covid-19 precautions and restrictions. We take note that this year, Mr. Parks attended as RMAI President-Elect rather than Treasurer. We’re proud of our industry, RMAI, and our team for rallying these past couple of years to make sure we all come out the other side of pandemic-related challenges stronger than ever. Looking back, this update is both humbling and eye-opening on just how far we have come in 2 years.

Plaza Services, an RMAI certified debt buyer based in Atlanta, GA, attended the Receivables Management Association International (RMAI) Executive Summit in Sedona, AZ from July 30 to August 1, 2019. Amid the beautiful backdrop of the red rock buttes and steep canyon walls of Sedona, the Executive Summit provided attendees with fantastic educational content as well as intimate networking opportunities, unique outdoor experiences, and family-friendly events.

The 2019 RMAI Executive Summit was a sold-out success with 125 of the receivables management industry’s top professionals gathering to network and share important information. Adam Parks, Chief Marketing Officer of Plaza Services and Treasurer of RMAI, attended the event and participated in important discussions regarding the state of the industry, CFPB rulemaking, recent legislative efforts, and other relevant topics. Mr. Parks shared his thoughts on the Summit in a short Receivables Info video, sponsored by Plaza Services.

Conference attendees had the pleasure of attending educational sessions with key industry speakers, including appearances from Tom Pahl, Policy Associate Director for Research, Markets & Regulations (RMR) for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Honorable David Shweikert, a Congressman representing the 6th Congressional District of Arizona. Presenters and speakers shared their perspectives as well as important information on the topics that are currently impacting the industry today.

“As an RMAI Certified Receivables Business, Plaza Services participates in RMAI events because of the educational and networking value they bring to our organization,” says Mr. Parks. “The Executive Summit has always been a key to my relationship-building within the industry as well as expanding Plaza Services’ professional network. I look forward to the Summit each year and, in my opinion, 2019 was the best year yet. The Executive Summit is a more relaxed environment to meet with people we don’t often see throughout the year while participating in fun and extraordinary activities.”
